Casual Workshops

This year Wai Taiko is running introductory Taiko classes throughout the year. These classes are designed to give you a taste of Taiko, covering basic technique including different stances, movement and rhythms. The classes are not progressive so you can attend any sessions you wish, and no registration is necessary (although numbers are limited so don't be late!). Come along and have a go!

You need to bring earplugs, water, and wear loose clothing which is comfortable to move around in.

Cost is $20 per adult, $10 per child (6 years and up) and $50 per family.

Classes are held at The University of Waikato in room TT0.09 from 5:45pm - 8pm on the following dates:
